Joy in the Morning

joy in altered book

I am doing a Bible Study on JOY, and I love reading reminders in God’s Word about how HE is the source of joy.

When I was younger, I’m not sure I could fully appreciate the depth of meaning behind “weeping may last the night, but joy comes with the morning light.” There has been a lot of heavy sadness in my life in recent years, so I am thankful that after the weeping always comes the joy, because it is from God. I notice there is not a promise that there will not be weeping. But there is a promise of joy to come after the tears.

God’s Joy is one of the methods He uses to bless the lives of His followers.

Weeping may tarry for the night,
but joy comes with the morning.

Psalm 30:5 (ESV)

Hallelujah!
